We started the day lining up for an hour to get our discount tkts to “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" starring Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette. The show was a wonderfully funny musical in a beautiful theatre on Broadway. We tried Lindy’s World Famous Best in New York Cheesecake - which was alright except for its likely subtitle of Most Expensive Cheesecake in New York.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art (“The Met”) was a massive and beautiful building, with enough art, photography, architecture, artefacts and statues to fill a month - the Frank Lloyd Wright room and Monets were a highlight. The picture above is a piece at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
We caught up with friends in Brooklyn for dinner before catching a cab to Rockefeller Plaza to visit Top of the Rock - a very impressive view of New York by night, by far the best viewing platform we’ve been on since you’re actually on the roof of the building and the fences on the building are not intrusive.
